Flow Batteries Europe is an association bringing together stakeholders across the entire flow battery value chain. Our vision is to accelerate the decarbonisation in Europe and globally by increasing the deployment of energy storage and flexibility solutions through flow battery applications. We aim to achieve it in two key ways. Firstly, by bringing together interested stakeholders to advance the research and development as well as the commercialisation of flow batteries in Europe. And secondly, by working on advocacy activities at the highest EU policymaking levels to help achieve a more favourable legal framework and increasing funding opportunities for flow battery projects.

To our members, we provide the following key services:

• Policy insights: Providing early information on regulatory developments, advocating for our members’ position, and participating in the drafting of battery roadmaps and R&I agendas.
• Network: Facilitating meetings between flow battery stakeholders, competitors and potential clients.
• Funding: Providing regular updates on various EU funding opportunities.
