Due to COVID-19 we were unable to hold our annual conference in Düsseldorf as planned. Instead, we held an interactive web session on 30 June and 1 July 2020.

We started with a lively debate on the policy and background for energy storage, and the need for flow batteries. Customers and users of energy storage then gave their perspective on market needs and requirements. We rounded up hearing from manufacturers and developers describing their latest work and projects.

While it was a shame we could not meet in person, it showed us a virtual event has value and helped pave the way for our next virtual conference in January 2021.
