The 18th edition of the International Flow Battery Forum (IFBF®) – the leading event for the flow battery community – will take place on 22–24 June in Barcelona, Spain, at the Barceló Sants Hotel, located on top of the main Barcelona Sants railway station in the Sants-Montjuïc district.
Over three days, IFBF will feature the participation of +350 delegates among manufacturers, utilities, suppliers, policymakers, researchers, academics, and students from all over the world, +50 speakers delivering presentations and panel discussions, an exhibition area with +25 stands, many networking moments including a cocktail reception and a conference dinner, +50 posters with a dedicated poster session, poster awards and speed-pitching contest on the main stage, and other additional activities (morning run, flow battery design prize, and more..).
IFBF promotes the latest developments in the science, technology, and commercialisation of flow batteries. The conference covers a broad range of topics across both research and commercial aspects of the field.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The call for proposals will open on 1 November 2026 and close on 15 January 2027. Further information coming soon.

TICKETS
Tickets will go on sale in February 2027.
All IFBF tickets include access to the three-day conference, exhibition area, poster session, and the poster session & cocktail reception on Day 2. A separate ticket is required for the conference dinner and the site visit. A full ticket including all the IFBF activities is available in limited numbers.
