INO-HUB Energy is a company with comprehensive know-how across the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and its value chain, delivering tailored energy storage solutions as an experienced ECP/EPCm contractor capable of designing, delivering, commissioning, operating, and maintaining BESS. Ultimate goal of INO-HUB Energy within its R&D activities is commercial deployment of internally developed vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB). Its proprietary battery stack has recently been certified by TÜV SÜD, while a demonstration unit has been operating for more than two years.

The development is supported by the company’s own specialized laboratory testing equipment (Air Test Rig, Kw Test Rig, Permeability Test Rig) used for battery research and validation. INO-HUB Energy is currently finalizing its first fully scalable commercial VRFB unit, which is going to be certified at system-level by TÜV SÜD within 6 months. In parallel, INO-HUB Energy developed proprietary energy management software AORTA+ (AI EMS), including a digital twin simulation and emulation tool used for optimization and operation of energy assets, either combined with battery systems (based on any chemistry) or without them.
